Guiding principles for regional Consistency
PRTPO and its members have a long history of coordinated planning that is based on a core set of guiding principles. These principles are embedded in the Countywide Planning Policies of Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap, and Mason Counties and in the corresponding local Comprehensive Plans of their respective cities. Adherence to these principles enables ongoing collaboration and cooperation among PRTPO’s partners and ensures consistency with statewide policies.
Certification of Consistency between rtp and countywide planning policies
[Pending] RCW 47.80.030(2) requires PRTPO to develop and maintain a regional transportation plan that is consistent with adopted Countywide Planning Policies maintained by Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap, and Mason Counties. Those certification statements are found here.
